We work with all types of disabilities
with the help of our regular and
student volunteers.
WHAT IS THERAPEUTIC RIDING?
Therapeutic horseback riding is a form of therapy for
individuals with physical or mental disabilities or
developmental delays. As each individual is unique, so
are their needs. Each individual has a specialized riding
session created for them by a Therapeutic riding
instructor or a health professional.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THERAPEUTIC RIDING?
Therapeutic riding has been shown to help riders
increase range of motion from head to toe, increase
balance and riding responses, enhance function
and promote independence.
